Over the past 5 years I’ve taken lots of snaps. Some for myself. Some for other people. Almost always for both.

So why athletics? Well, in 2009 I was commissioned to join the journalist team representing The Jamaica Gleaner Newspaper & SportsCaribe.com, a Caribbean website, covering The 12th World Championships in Athletics, in Berlin.

Specifically, my brief was to be the official sports news photographer, for the largest newspaper & website in the Caribbean - transmitting & blogging live photos of the Jamaican & Caribbean Teams. And to burn that midnight oil :-)

And, as you’ve hopefully seen from these pics, boy did the athletes put on a show!
